Job Description

This role promotes Novo Nordisk products and develops strategic business relationships with healthcare professionals in the endocrinology field.

About the Role
  • Promote NNCI products to targeted specialists, including endocrinologists, primary care physicians, and diabetes nurse educators.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan to drive sales results and analyze sales data to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Customize sales calls to address opportunities and needs of healthcare providers and organize product education sessions within budgetary guidelines.
  • Liaise with pharmacists and community hospitals to ensure proper product usage and attend conferences to promote company products.
  • Demonstrate leadership at national sales meetings and district meetings, managing territory budgets and providing leadership to address district objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Key Areas of Responsibility
    • Develops, implements and updates territory business plan in order to drive sales results with target audiences;
    • Analyzes sales data to determine progress and identify areas of opportunity;
    • Customizes sales calls addressing opportunities with, and needs of, targeted healthcare providers;
    • Liaises with Pharmacists and community hospitals to ensure proper and optimal product usage;
    • Attends conferences, symposiums and seminars in order to promote company products and provide current information to customers, as well as to obtain and share market information when appropriate;
    • Demonstrates leadership at National Sales meetings, District meetings and training programs;
    • Manages territory CHE and sample budgets;
    • Provides leadership by addressing district and corporate objectives (sharing best business practices, presenting at regional meetings, temporarily covering vacant territories or district, etc.);
    • May be called upon by district and head office to implement or lead regional initiatives;
    • May participate in cross-functional teams as requested;
    • Takes on a mentorship role for new hires or other colleagues requiring assistance;

Requirements
  • Education and Certifications:
    • University degree or business qualifications;
    • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical experience;
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
