Systems AdministratorOperations Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Systems AdministratorOperations Support Specialist to join our team at Maarut Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the migration of historical data from our current inventory tracking tool into our Configuration Management Database (CMDB), as well as supporting ongoing project inventory data into the CMDB. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for re-scripting existing logs and transferring/data entry all tracking lists into databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the migration of historical data from our current inventory tracking tool into the CMDB
- Support ongoing project inventory data into the CMDB
- Re-script existing logs and transfer/data entry all tracking lists into databases
- Update and verify data accuracy in various dashboards
- Assist in modifying database structure as required
- Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any incompatibilities if possible
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete data
- Respond to queries for information and access relevant files or data
- Review and enter data information into the appropriate databases and dashboards
- Proactively verify data through sourced documents
- Monitor and update existing data when required
- Perform data searches
- Assist with Audio/Visual and IT support
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of Operations support experience
- Experience with Justice Video Network, Audio/Visual hardware and software technologies, Videoconferencing hardware and software technologies, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Inventory Management, ITIL framework and best practices, day-to-day computer systems operations, information retrieval packages, one or more communications protocols, database management and scripting, enterprise Data Analysis/visualization tools like PowerBI, MS Office (Excel) and data programs (PostgreSQL), and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Must-haves:
- At least 3 years of Operations support experience
- Previous OPS/Justice sector experience will be an asset
