Job Description

SCOPE:

  • Support the migration of historical data from the current inventory tracking tool into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Support ongoing project inventory data into CMDB.
  • Rescript existing logs and transfer/data entry all tracking lists into databases.
  • Update and maintain dashboards and reports.

DELIVERABLES:

  • Follow procedures to upload or enter data into eSMT CMDB from existing data sources within time limits.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for eSMT CMDB entry.
  • Update and verify data accuracy in various dashboards by gathering detail information from the intake team and project management team.
  • Update existing scripts for various logs.
  • Assist in modifying Database structure as required.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete data.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files or data.
  • Reviewing and entering data information into the appropriate databases and dashboards.
  • Proactively verifying data through source documents.
  • Monitoring and updating existing data when required.
  • Performing data searches.
  • Assist with Audio/Visual and IT support.

Requirements

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years of Operation support.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience with Justice Video Network.
  • Experience with Audio/Visual hardware and software technologies.
  • Experience with Videoconferencing hardware and software technologies.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Experience with Inventory Management.
  • Experience with ITIL framework and best practices.
  • Experience with day-to-day computer systems operations.
  • Experience with information retrieval packages.
  • Experience with one or more communications protocols.
  • Experience with database management and scripting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with enterprise Data Analysis/visualization tools like Power BI.
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel) and data programs (PostgreSQL).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organization skills with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.

Must haves:

  • At least 3 years of Operation support.
  • Previous OPS/Justice sector experience will be an asset.
