Job Summary

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of our retail environment. This dynamic role requires a customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner, providing a positive first impression of our store.
  • Assist customers with their shopping needs, promoting products and services, and making purchase decisions.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restocking merchandise, rotating stock, and removing damaged or out-of-date items.
  • Ensure accurate handling of claims and returns, and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilizing equipment and administrative tasks as required.
  • Refer customers to a Customer Service Manager as needed for additional support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
