Job Summary

KSS TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Perform Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Communicate Effectively: Relay information to central dispatch and receive instructions from dispatchers.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Will train, but prior experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40-50 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
