Quality Assurance Specialist for Pressure Equipment

We are seeking a skilled QA Inspector to join our team at 360 Integrity Corp. in Calgary, AB.

This is a contract position lasting approximately 12-14 months, starting February 1, 2025.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with quality standards for fabrication processes, pressure equipment, piping, and structural steel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily or weekly visual inspections at fabrication shops to ensure adherence to project specifications and code requirements.
  • Reviewing and signing off on QC packages, including ITPs, weld maps, material traceability, pressure tests, etc.
  • Monitoring welders and welding processes to confirm WPS compliance, including interpass temperatures and electrode storage.
  • Witnessing leak tests (hydrostatic/pneumatic) and participating in final walkdowns of skids.
  • Collaborating with project engineers and providing detailed reporting progress using digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess certifications in QA/QC disciplines such as CWB, API, and/or ABSA, as well as significant knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME BPVC, Section VIII Div 1, B31.3, CSA B51, API codes).

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with welding inspection, including visual inspection, NDE review, and coating assessments, and meet the experience requirements to act as an "Owners Inspector" as per ASME B31.3.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience, plus mileage compensation and flexible hours.
