About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Latas Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for special events and daily operations.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as order supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Cook Trade Certification, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Safety Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
