About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Director of I&IT Architecture, Technology and Standards. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for shaping the digital future of the Ontario Public Service (OPS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of information technology (IT) architecture and business strategies
  • Develop, establish and manage architectures and frameworks to enable the design, delivery, and scaling of solutions
  • Provide strategic leadership for the units of enterprise architecture, technology strategy and standards office
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners, clients, and stakeholders to provide strategic business advice
Requirements
  • Proven experience in providing leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary project teams in the development and implementation of digital techniques and develop long-term strategic strategies
  • Inclusive leader who values and creates a culture of diversity, inclusion and equity in the workplace
  • Effective communicator and collaborative leader with proven abilities in engaging, building and maintaining positive and sustained relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of I&IT enterprise architecture with an understanding of technology, application, and data architecture domains
  • Experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps and target state architecture with enterprise mindset
