Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at Ruchi's Masala House. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Culinary Leadership: Supervising and mentoring junior chefs, developing menus, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations: Overseeing daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Team Management: Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring effective communication among team members.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Head Chef or in a senior culinary position.
  • Excellent Culinary Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Indian cuisine, with a focus on flavor profiles, texture, and presentation.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of successfully leading teams, motivating staff, and driving results.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and customers.
