We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at EPIC - Educational Program Innovations Center.
Job Summary:The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring the effective allocation of resources, and making key decisions to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization, setting clear goals and objectives, and ensuring the effective management of teams and resources.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, ensuring the right people are in place to drive business success.
- Policy Formulation: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, ensuring the organization's interests are represented.
- Staff Selection: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, ensuring the right people are in place to drive business success.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring the effective management of resources.
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, judgement, organized, team player, values and ethics
