We are seeking an IT System Support Specialist to join our team at 100 Reasons Y. As an IT System Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing top-notch support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop and helpdesk support, ensuring all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with minimal disruptions.
  • Configure laptops and desktops, troubleshoot end-user computer equipment, software, and operating systems, and manage meeting room equipment.
  • Administer end-user accounts, provide troubleshooting and optimization for technical problems related to product applications, installation, and configuration, and develop and implement technical solutions under general supervision.
  • Install and configure computers and peripherals for internal and client networks, test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved, and maintain ongoing maintenance of systems and infrastructure while supporting system quality assurance.
  • Manage service tickets and troubleshooting progress for all client requests and ensure effective trouble ticket escalation, field incoming help requests from end users, documenting user issues and related resolutions as needed.
Requirements
  • You must have post-secondary education in IT and/or completion of an IT Administrator Certificate program, with at least 3 years' experience in the IT-related field, including hands-on experience in IT Helpdesk and Support.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with end users and demonstrated proficiency with VoIP systems, Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10 and above), Microsoft 365 Exchange, Microsoft 365 Azure Active Directory.
  • Able to understand or write scripts in PowerShell, endpoint reporting and security support experience, familiarity with compliance and industry security standards, and valid Class G driver's license and insured with own vehicle.
  • Candidates must be willing to participate in mandated training, including AODA Training, Health & Safety Awareness Training, Bill 168 (Violence & Harassment in the Workplace) Training, PCI Compliance, WHMIS, and Child Protection Training.
