Job Title: Deployment and Support Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Deployment and Support Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for the deployment and support of mission-critical technologies in police, fire, and medical emergency services environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, upgrade, and configure application suites on various client, cloud, and internal Linux servers.
  • Deploy database changes to client sites.
  • Plan and coordinate data migration between systems.
  • Configure and maintain tools for generating, deploying, and tracking product builds.
  • Improve the performance and reliability of product builds and deployment strategies.
  • Communicate with customer IT staff on deployment issues.
  • Troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues as needed.
  • Effectively work on multiple concurrent customer and/or internal projects.
  • Provide on-call support after hours on a rotational basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in technology and business requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science or related field.
  • Linux System Administration, Linux, VMware, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Scripting, Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, GIT, Active Directory, LDAP, Government Clearance.
