About the Role

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an experienced Medical Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our Physician Recruitment team.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth execution of tasks and projects. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Physician Recruitment team, including data entry, report preparation, and coordination of events.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative support position, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking software and database management systems.
What We Offer

Nova Scotia Health Authority offers a competitive salary range of $22.34 - $27.93 per hour, based on experience.

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly, offering a great work-life balance and opportunities for professional growth and development.
