International Trade Development Manager for North America

Driven by our desire to expand internationally, we are currently seeking an International Trade Development Manager for the North America Zone.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the North America Zone under the guidance of our Export Director. Key responsibilities include:
• Anticipating customer needs and adapting strategies accordingly
• Managing marketing activities for products within the assigned geographical area
• Optimizing the customer portfolio and identifying opportunities for turnover growth
• Overseeing distribution networks, including importers and direct customers
• Conducting market research and prospecting for new markets to expand our presence
• Regularly providing sales reports, benchmarking data, trends, packaging information, market expectations, and competition analysis
• Collaborating closely with the commercial, marketing, and operations teams
• Maintaining a high-quality image of our company among partners and contacts
• Organizing and leading promotional events as well as participating in industry fairs throughout the year
Requirements
We are looking for a business development professional with prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Key strengths for this role include commitment, reliability, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate should excel in building strong customer relationships and align with our company values: respect, high standards, pragmatism, and friendliness. A methodical, detail-oriented, and organized approach to work is essential.
Benefits
40 hours/week, with overtime available
Gross Monthly Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 CAD (based on a 12-month salary)
