Job Summary

As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the quality and visual appearance of our bakery department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and zoning the bakery area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to our company's standards and policies for food safety and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the quality and visual appearance of bakery department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
  2. Maintain and zone the bakery area to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  3. Assist with stocking and sales of bakery merchandise, including ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  4. Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure quality and visual appearance.
  5. Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
