Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AVP, FP&A – Financial Services to join our team at CT Bank. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing critical knowledge and insight into the financial health, performance, and trajectory of our Financial Services business.

As a member of the Forecasting, Planning & Analysis group, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projections. You will also lead the development of the cost-benefit analysis for strategic initiatives and support the enterprise project agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of individuals through the timely preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and monthly projections.
  • Prepare and present the monthly performance package and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports and analysis to Management and the CT Bank Board.
  • Develop the cost-benefit analysis for strategic initiatives and support the enterprise project agenda.
  • Support the Call Centre Operations team with financial and data-driven insights into overall performance.
  • Build productive working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Credit Risk, Product Growth & Acquisition, and Call Centre Operations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Finance, with at least 5 years as a People Manager.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with various functions across the organization.
  • Attention to detail, professional skepticism, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong financial, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment responsive to rapidly changing business needs.
