Water Management Engineer and Project Manager - Western Canada Region

GHD is seeking a highly skilled Water Management Engineer and Project Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our Water Group, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to urban drainage planning, flood plain mapping, and climate change adaptation studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  3. Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water management engineering and project management.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong technical skills in water management, including urban drainage planning, flood plain mapping, and climate change adaptation studies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
