Hawkesbury General Hospital & District General Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technician to join our dynamic clinical team. As a Cardiology Technician, you will play a vital role in the assessment and care of adult patients, utilizing your expertise in cardiology testing and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret cardiology tests, including Holter monitoring, stress testing, ECG, and blood pressure monitoring
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a patient-centered approach
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cardiology technologies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements
- College diploma in Cardiology Technology or a related field
- Mandatory certification as a Registered Cardiology Technologist (or Registered Respiratory Therapist or Neurophysiology Technologist)
- Experience in exercise stress, exercise stress echo, and Holter analysis or nerve conduction studies and ECG
- Member of the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French
