About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Contractor to join our team at Leading Edge Group. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise carpentry projects, including planning, organizing, and coordinating with team members, contractors, and clients.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor junior carpenters, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect work sites and completed projects to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Materials and Equipment: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, team members, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors in various weather conditions, with occasional exposure to noise.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites, including residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
  • Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, with occasional overtime required.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, and a team player.
