We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Swift Connect INC. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean the bar area and wash glassware to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure the draft beer system is clean and functioning properly.
- Customer Service
- Provide recommendations on drink selections and advise on wine choices.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
- Inventory and Cash Handling
- Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock.
- Operate the cash register and record and balance beverage sales.
- Regulations and Certifications
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Hold relevant certifications such as Bartender/Mixology Certification Course and Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
