We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Swift Connect INC. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and draft beer systems.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking beverage orders and serving food or snacks.
- Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations on drink selections.
- Inventory and Cash Handling
- Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, including beverages and food products.
- Operate a cash register and record and balance beverage sales.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Certifications and Training
- Hold a Bartender/Mixology Certification Course and other relevant certifications.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Work Schedule
- Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
