About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Bund Shanghai Cuisine & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages for our guests.
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
    • Ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Assist in the receiving and stocking of food and beverage supplies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is an asset.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
