About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at 1378840 B.C. LTD. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload dishes, utensils, and equipment from dishwashers, dish racks, and storage areas.
  • Scour and sanitize pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers.
  • Portion and wrap food items for serving.
  • Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for preparation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and repetitive tasks.
  • The work environment is physically demanding and requires a high level of energy and stamina.
Personal Qualities and Experience
  • We are looking for a team player who is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
