Operations Shift Supervisor

At Tenaris, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Shift Supervisor to join our team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing shift operations, directing employees, and ensuring the smooth execution of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage shift operations, including productivity, downtime, delays, and quality KPIs
  • Direct employees, provide training, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Perform quality and safety inspections, investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
  • Interface with maintenance, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage safety and quality actions, report on daily productivity, and analyze critical failures
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform failure analysis, provide solution-based ideas, and manage shift work
  • Intermediate Excel and Office skills, with a focus on data analysis and reporting
  • Safety and quality-minded, with strong follow-up and analytical skills
