Operations Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:

Tenaris is seeking an experienced Operations Shift Supervisor to join our team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for managing shift operations, directing employees, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage shift operations in a production facility
  • Direct employees to ensure efficient and safe production
  • Monitor and report on productivity, downtime, delays, and quality KPIs
  • Perform quality and safety inspections
  • Interface with maintenance and other departments as needed
  • Investigate accidents and incidents
  • Manage safety and quality actions
  • Report on daily productivity and delays
  • Analyze and provide solutions for critical failures

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical diploma or degree and 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Or +10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas
  • Ability to manage and rotate in shift work
  • Good knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry an asset
