Milo Productions Inc., a leading animation studio, is seeking an experienced Technical Animation Director to join its dynamic team.

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient pipelines for animation, including character rigging, modeling, texturing, and lighting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation pipelines, experience with real-time rendering engines, and the ability to optimize assets for performance without compromising visual quality.

We are looking for someone who can lead the technical art team in creating high-quality visual assets for animated projects and collaborate with the creative team to define the visual style and technical direction of animation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient pipelines for animation
  • Collaborate with the creative team to define the visual style and technical direction of animation projects

  • Ensure all technical art processes align with the overall creative direction and project goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or a Technical Diploma in Computer Graphics, Animation, Game Design, or a related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in animation, with at least 3 years in a technical art leadership role
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Maya, Mudbox, Substance Painter, Adobe After Effects, and Unreal Engine

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
