Community Visit Nursing Opportunity

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a passionate and caring Registered Practical Nurse (RPN/LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality home health care to our clients in Ottawa and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Community Visit Nurse, you will use your clinical skills to ensure that our clients receive the care they need and deserve in the comfort and safety of their own homes. You will work independently and as part of a team to provide outstanding care, and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide client care by utilizing skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching
  • Establish, monitor, and deliver nursing care to clients in a community setting
  • Provide support and direction to unlicensed/unregistered employees involved in direct client care
  • Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
Requirements
  • Current nursing license in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
  • At least two years of nursing experience (community experience an asset)
  • Proof of a current Negative TB test
  • Current/clear vulnerable sector/police check
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Valid driver's License (G Class) and continuous access to a reliable vehicle
