Field and Infusion Nurse

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Field and Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN) to join our team. As a Field and Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications and supporting the administration of IV infusion treatments in home and specialty clinic settings.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and support the administration of IV infusion treatments in home and specialty clinic settings
- Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation
- Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups
- Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures
- Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information
- Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned
- Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards
- Participates in specialized client related trainings as required
- Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs
- Required to travel within your designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational needs
- Required to follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions
- Required to follow all Health and Safety standards as per the provincial Health and safety Act
- Required to complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes
- Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations, regulatory bodies and the company policies and procedures
- Perform related duties and tasks as required by Innomar
- May be required to be on standby/on call to meet the service needs
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience with IV therapy is an asset
- Diploma/University degree in nursing or related field
- Current registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate
- Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting
- ACLS, PALs, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets
- Knowledge of Cell phone for making and confirming appointments/assignments and fax machines
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team
- Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundary
The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
