A national company with a strong reputation in the industry is seeking a talented Restaurant Executive Working Chef to join their team.

This restaurant is known for its commitment to serving high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and providing an exceptional dining experience to guests.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of high-volume chef experience, formal culinary training, and strong kitchen organizational skills.

They will be able to create innovative local dishes while following corporate specifications when needed.

Able to cook high-end food in a fast-paced environment, they will also have a passion for developing and mentoring a team.

Previous experience in a 'corporate' environment, particularly in high-volume chain restaurants, is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-volume casual dining kitchen.
  • Developing and implementing menu items that highlight local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation while maintaining efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff to achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of high-volume chef experience ($5MM or more annual sales volume).
  • Formal culinary training or culinary degree.
  • Strong kitchen organizational skills and ability to set and uphold standards.
  • Ability to create innovative local fare and follow corporate specs when needed.
  • Past experience in 'corporate' environment (high-volume chain experience a plus).

Compensation:

  • $58k - $62k starting salary based on experience level.
