School Bus Operator

The School Bus Driver is a critical role that requires a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as on field trips. This position requires a valid Class 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement, a clean driver's abstract, and completion of specialized bus driver training.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus, transporting students to and from school and on field trips, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on the bus, including cleaning and refueling, to ensure it is in good working order.
- Conduct safety checks prior to each trip, ensuring that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Supervise and enforce safety rules during trips, educating students on the importance of safety and responsible behavior.
- Collaborate with school administrators and other transportation staff to ensure seamless transportation services.
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement.
- Completion of specialized bus driver training.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certificate.
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
- Hourly wage starting at $25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
