School Bus Operator

At Kootenay/Okanagan, we are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus, transporting students to and from school and on field trips, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Perform routine mechanical inspections, identify required maintenance, and complete repairs or arrange for professional assistance.
- Conduct thorough safety checks of the vehicle prior to each trip, guaranteeing a safe and reliable ride for students.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations, educating students on the importance of responsible behavior during transportation.
Requirements:
- Completion of specialized bus driver training.
- Valid Class 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
