While the specific classification and hours may vary, our Custodians play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe campus for our students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • General cleaning of public areas, including corridors, stairwells, and elevator walls.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing public washrooms.
  • Spot washing of walls and floors.
  • Removal of garbage and recyclables.
  • Reconfiguration of classroom and lecture hall furniture.
  • Wipe clean white and chalkboards.
  • Maintenance of building entrances and salt removal.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to operate and use Custodial equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak, read, write, comprehend, and sustain conversations in English.
