Job Title: Home Childcare Provider

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Jean-Christophe La Salle. As a Home Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare services to families in their own homes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide childcare services to infants and children in the comfort of their own homes.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities to promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to meet the dietary needs of children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to understand their needs and preferences.
Responsibilities:
  • Change diapers and maintain personal hygiene for infants and children.
  • Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • Supervise and care for children.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Cook meals for families.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Working Conditions:
  • Non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
