About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Supply Chain team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will provide expertise in managing and analyzing data to support decision making and monitor performance of the service.

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering, or other relevant fields required.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a supply chain analytical role working with large volumes of complex information.
  • Project management certification and Lean certification are assets.
  • Experience supervising staff and coaching to achieve high levels of performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to forge partnerships with other functional areas to drive performance across the business.
  • Capable of managing large amounts of data and extracting and summarizing critical points.
  • Proficient in communicating in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proven ability to utilize systems and information to effectively communicate business performance and support other users.
  • Attention to detail in preparation and delivery of recall information to a wide audience.
  • Highly developed numeracy and IT skills to support the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain excellent customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills and conflict resolution skills.
  • Efficiently delegates issues to team members.
  • Competencies in other languages are preferred; French is an asset.
Hours
  • Permanent, full-time position, 75 hours bi-weekly.
Compensation and Incentives

$44.09 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
