Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Part-Time Faculty member to teach in our School of Engineering Technology and Trades. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Natural Resources and the ability to deliver engaging and effective teaching in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Environmental Technician and Forestry Technician - Ecosystem Management programs
  • Design and develop courses and labs
  • Engage students in the classroom and lab environment
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of the School's programs
Requirements
  • Completion of a postsecondary qualification in a discipline related to the subject matter
  • Expertise and progressively responsible experience in the applicable discipline
  • Expertise in both stand-up delivery and distributed learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's level degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Teaching or training experience at the postsecondary or corporate level
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working with Indigenous communities
  • Knowledge of and/or experience teaching or working with International students
