At GreenX, we are seeking an experienced Energy Conservation Specialist to join our team. As an Energy Conservation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable building practices.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about energy conservation and environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in building inspection and energy auditing, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct energy audits and inspections of commercial and residential buildings to identify areas for improvement and recommend energy-efficient solutions;
  • Develop and implement energy-saving plans and strategies for clients to reduce their energy consumption and costs;
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to design and build energy-efficient buildings and systems;
  • Provide training and education to clients on energy conservation best practices and technologies;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, architecture, environmental science);
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in building inspection and energy auditing;
  • Provincial or territorial certification in building inspection or energy auditing;
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle;
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
