We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team at Nacora Trade Credit Insurance. As an Insurance Broker, you will play a crucial role in establishing client insurance coverage, ensuring policy requirements are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Policy Administration
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of policy applications, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
    • Verify client information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Claims Management
    • Monitor and respond to client inquiries and concerns regarding insurance claims.
    • Work with clients to resolve claims issues and provide support throughout the process.
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products to clients.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers to negotiate competitive rates and terms.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a brokerage or agency setting.
  • Certifications
    • Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of property/casualty insurance, commercial insurance, individual insurance, and automobile insurance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
