Searles Auto is seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a key member of our garage team, you will assist our experienced mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.

Work Environment

Our garage is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work alongside our experienced mechanics to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will be exposed to a variety of tasks, including moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines and work areas, and assisting tradespersons and apprentices as directed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads.
