Job Title: Automotive Mechanic Helper

Searles Auto is seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a key member of our garage team, you will assist our experienced mechanics in performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.

Work Environment

Our garage is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will work with a variety of tools and equipment. You will be required to lift heavy loads, work in a dusty and noisy environment, and be exposed to odours.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics with routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
