Job Summary

EL COMAL MEXICAN FOODS CORP. is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to ensure that production needs are met.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that the production area is safe and secure, and that all employees are aware of and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to odours.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production staff and other departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
