Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Operational Excellence
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and delivery
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience
- Government Programs and Initiatives
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees
- Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Support for Indigenous People
- Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Work 30 hours per week in a permanent position
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
