Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Arbutus West Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and hire food service staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
  • Government Programs: Participate in government or community programs or initiatives that support newcomers and/or refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality and service.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language required.
