We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Services Assistant to join our team at Cranbrook Urgent Primary Care.

Job Summary:

This is a casual opportunity for a relief part-time Administrative Services Assistant to provide administrative support to our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of reception, administrative, and Health Unit Aide support duties, including data entry, preparing presentations, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff
  • Perform data entry, including gathering, organizing, and verifying information
  • Prepare presentations, arrange meetings, transcribe minutes, and book travel
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments, receive, record, and check balances of cash transactions
  • Maintain and clean medical/surgical supplies, equipment, and HCIS resource material
  • Weigh and measure babies, calibrate equipment, and perform vision screenings
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program
  • One year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Current valid BC Driver's License
