Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Helper

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Clinical Laboratory Helper to join our team at The Allergy Clinic. As a Clinical Laboratory Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in an urban area, requiring a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will work 35 to 40 hours per week, with a focus on maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies, and operating and maintaining sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare professionals in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  • Maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use
  • Maintain supplies and inventory of equipment
  • Perform general clerical duties, including processing files and paperwork, scheduling appointments, and managing routine office functions
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Organized and reliable with excellent communication skills
