Laboratory Assistant II

Job Summary:
As a Laboratory Assistant II at Base Laboratory, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory. Your primary responsibilities will include pre-analytical specimen handling, transport, accessioning, processing, and storage. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries, cleaning, monitoring, and preventative maintenance of lab equipment and work areas, maintaining common supplies, updating inventories and data sheets, and participating in lab quality and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in Anatomic Pathology and experience in EPIC-Beaker AP is an asset.
