Medical Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant II to join our team at the Base Laboratory. As a key member of our Anatomic Pathology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in pre-analytical specimen handling, transport, accessioning, processing, and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries from various stakeholders, ensuring prompt and accurate information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including lab equipment and storage areas.
- Participate in lab quality and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Update inventory levels and data sheets to ensure accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program and have recent experience in Anatomic Pathology.
