Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self-Checkout Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Self-Checkout Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized self-service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Assist customers with transactions and provide solutions to any issues that may arise.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing
    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Self-Service Area Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, including the checkout lanes and surrounding areas.
    • Restock shelves and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
