Job Title: Industrial Electrician

New 5 Electrical Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations, as well as experience working with industrial electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Test and maintain electrical equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and switchboards
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems and other related devices
  • Interpret electrical code specifications and drawings to determine layout of electrical equipment installations
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial electrical work
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
Working Conditions:
  • Varied work environment, including outdoors and in confined spaces
  • May be required to work overtime and in physically demanding conditions
