Job Title: Industrial Electrician

New 5 Electrical Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Electrician to work on various electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, and switchboards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including testing and interpreting electrical code specifications.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Work with a team to ensure efficient and safe electrical system operation.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold/refrigerated environments, and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Work Environment

The Industrial Electrician will work in a variety of locations, including industrial settings, and will be required to travel occasionally.
