Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage our staffing needs, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage staffing requirements, including preparing and posting job notices and advertisements.
  • Screen and interview candidates, and advise on employment requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate the selection process, including contacting potential applicants and notifying them of results.
  • Provide support for newcomers and refugees, including facilitating access to community resources and language training.
  • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities for youth.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Excel, and MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with newcomers and refugees.
  • Knowledge of social and labour market integration programs.
